Rano Kau and Orongo: History, culture, and breathtaking landscapes
This tour blends history with spectacular scenery on Rapa Nui, taking you to one of the island’s most beautiful and deepest volcanoes.

Itinerary
Vinapu – Archaeological site with impressive stonework and remains of moai statues destroyed during clan wars in the 18th century.
Orongo – Ceremonial village where the Birdman (Tangata Manu) competition took place, deciding which clan would govern the island for one year.
Rano Kau Volcano Viewpoint – From here, we’ll admire its astonishing crater, a true natural sanctuary.
Important: This tour does NOT include a visit to the Ana Kai Tangata cave due to landslide risk.
